  12. Marie Kondo for type design: If you have alternate glyphs in your typeface and are unsure about keeping them, first sort by category: 1. stylistic alts 2. swashes 3. ligatures 4. contextual alts 5. historical forms Once this is done, delete them all. No one uses alternates✨

  22. Type designers: anyone else find that the average type user doesn’t know what “Deck” means, in terms of optical size? Naming convention are hard, and no system is perfect. But in the future I might opt for something like “Subhead” since this might be more clear to more people🤔
