        oh my god twitter doesn’t include alt text from images in their API

      …you can still use separate small caps fonts w/out OT features & max 256 glyphs. No need to fight new formats, use them if they’re useful

    I was excited about the orig OT capabilities & found it quite useful, even if not used for every setting. I think var fonts will be the same
