      jjcollinsworth zachleat Do you know which typeface you want to use yet? I’m making italics for my var font now (sans). Only a small increase for adding the italics to the same file. Roman: 47k (4 styles) Ital: 50k (4 styles) Both: 65k (8 styles) (woff2, 560 glyphs) Happy to let you try it if you want

    jjcollinsworth zachleat Also, susbetting could bring all of these numbers way down. + I’d be curious to see how much load time the additional http request adds for separate files. When I’ve looked in the past it added significant load time, which made me favor the single approach
