hw_beat_that Adobe Microsoft roboFontEditor FontForge Nice thread! It might be worth making a distinction between design format vs compiled format. UFO is used only in the design process & must be compiled into OTF, TTF, WOFF, etc to install. Other design formats are FOG, VFB, GLYPHS… but all of these are closed formats, unlike UFOPermalink On twitter.com

Still SFNT based, I think, but compressed like WOFF2 and streamable!On twitter.com
