SourceHanSans2.0 article reminded me that next year all Japanese type designers will need to add to all of their fonts the new imperial year glyph, which won't be announced until 2/27, before the new emperor takes the throne on 5/1.     Imagine not knowing the name of next year, kind of amazing to think about. So many government forms to be reprinted… Shoutout to all of the graphic designers in Japan updating all of the official documents next year
